Alaina Blake, who shines on her confident and purposeful vocals as well as her intuitive songwriting. Who hails from the rural plains of Osage, Kansas, made her vocal and songwriting debut in her early teen years. She performed steadily, singing lead and fronting Indie Rock and Punk Bands through her high school years, performing regularly at local festivals and concerts.

Following high school, Alaina joined with a national touring Irish band out of Kansas City, MO singing lead and playing rhythm guitar. During this time, Alaina honed her skills as a performer and a band leader.

Once the Irish music ended, Alaina moved to Lawrence, KS. There she lead and fronted her own band, Red Sky Home. This new band with a focus on her songwriting and the sounds of string music, thrived in the art and music scene of Lawrence, KS.

Dylan Hawf, raised in Southern Illinois, but born in Harrison, AR, has focused on fiddle since the age of 10. Born into a bluegrass family,  string music has been a way of life. Dylan began attending bluegrass camps yearly in Southern Illinois at the age of 12 where he studied under Nashville Fiddlers who regularly performed on the Grand Ole’ Opry and recorded with country and Bluegrass stars ranging from Bill Monroe to Alison Krauss.

During his high school years, Hawf performed and lead a national touring youth bluegrass band aging from 13 to 15, received concertmaster position of the Southern Illinois High School Honors Association Orchestra and conducted his high school marching band and concert band.

Dylan moved to Eureka Springs, AR in the fall of 2017. Following a father and son trip to discover the land of his birth a decade earlier. Dylan has made a name for himself as a side man in the natural state, becoming the to go to guy, for any genre of band wanting a fiddler to complete their sound.

Alaina Blake & Dylan Hawf met at the historical Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, KS in the fall of 2015, and as they say, the rest is history.
